Job Description: We are looking for a 3rd Officer with seismic vessel experience to join a long-term offshore project in Asia. The role involves supporting navigation, bridge operations, and marine seismic survey activities onboard a specialized seismic vessel. The 3rd Officer will assist with safe vessel operations during seismic data acquisition campaigns and ensure compliance with offshore navigation and safety procedures. Mobilisation is planned for early June.
Key Responsibilities: As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to: • Assist with bridge watchkeeping and safe navigation onboard seismic vessel
• Support marine seismic survey operations and vessel positioning activities
• Maintain accurate navigational records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with offshore safety and operational procedures
• Assist senior officers during seismic operations and vessel manoeuvring
Requirements: • Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Experience on seismic vessels (mandatory or strongly preferred)
• Experience in rank of 3rd Officer or similar
• Good English communication skills
• Offshore or survey vessel experience considered an advantage
Employment Details: • Contract Duration: 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off rotation
