Job Description

Fortis Engineering is seeking a qualified Third Engineer to join its marine operations.

The successful candidate will support the engine department in operating, inspecting, and maintaining auxiliary machinery and other assigned engineering systems onboard.

Position Available

• Third Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the operation and maintenance of engine room machinery
• Monitor auxiliary engines, pumps, and other equipment
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks
• Assist with machinery troubleshooting and repairs
• Maintain engine room records and logs
• Follow the Chief Engineer's instructions and company procedures
• Participate in safety drills and emergency response activities

Requirements

• Relevant Third Engineer Certificate of Competency (CoC)
• Valid STCW certification
• Valid seafarer's documents and certificates
• Relevant experience as Third Engineer
• Good English communication skills
• Good technical and mechanical skills
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
