Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior 3rd Engineer (Engineer Officer of the Watch) to join a Heavy-Lift Crane Vessel operating in Saudi Arabia with a well-established offshore construction client. The successful candidate will support the engineering department in maintaining the safe and efficient operation of all vessel machinery and systems. This position is suited for engineers with substantial experience on large-tonnage DP construction vessels, particularly within heavy-lift and pipelay operations. Candidates must possess both watchkeeping and hands-on maintenance experience.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Operating, monitoring, and maintaining engine room machinery and auxiliary systems
• Performing planned and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment
• Assisting senior engineering officers in ensuring safe vessel operations during offshore construction activities
• Maintaining accurate engine room logs, maintenance records, and technical reports
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and international maritime regulations

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid EOOW Certificate of Competency (CoC)
• Offshore certificates relevant to the position
• ARAMCO approval is mandatory
• Minimum 16 months of experience as a 3rd Engineer onboard DP construction vessels
• Previous experience on Heavy-Lift or Pipelay vessels is mandatory
• Strong maintenance experience in addition to watchkeeping duties
• Experience on small-tonnage vessels such as AHTS, PSV, DSV, etc. will not be considered

• Contract Duration: 12-month rolling renewable contract
