3rd Engineer on SOV DP2 (North Sea)

Job Description:
We are recruiting a Third Engineer for a specialized SOV DP2 vessel operating in the North Sea. This is a short-term, 5-week contract starting immediately on December 17th. This role requires specific certification and a minimum of 12 months of actual sea experience in the rank of 3rd Engineer on a similar type of vessel.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting the Chief Engineer with the safe and efficient operation of the engine department.
• Monitoring and maintaining DP system components and related machinery.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
• Performing watchkeeping duties and routine maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate (OGUK medical required)
• Proficiency in English communication
• Nationality requirement: Only EU Nationals or Ukrainian under UK holder of protection status
• Minimum of 12 months experience on similar type of vessels actual on board in the rank of 3rd Engineer
• Mandatory Certificates:
  • Officer In Charge Of Engineering Watch License (COC and Endorsement)
  • DP Maintenance Certificate
  • OPITO BOSIET & CA-EBS

Employment Details:

• Contract Duration: 5 weeks
• Salary: 210 EUR per day (Competitive, based on experience)
