Job Description:
A leading offshore operator is recruiting an experienced 3rd Engineer to join a SCOV DP3 (Subsea Construction Offshore Vessel) operating in the North Sea. The vessel is equipped with a 250-tonne Active Heave Compensated (AHC) crane and operates under the Norwegian flag. The successful candidate will join on 19 August for a 5-week offshore contract.

Key Responsibilities:
- Stand engineering watch and ensure the safe operation of engine room machinery.
- Assist senior engineers with the operation and maintenance of propulsion, power generation, and auxiliary systems.
- Perform planned and corrective maintenance in accordance with the Planned Maintenance System (PMS).
- Monitor engine room equipment and report technical defects.
- Maintain engine room logs and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, and company HSE procedures.
- Support DP operations by ensuring engineering systems remain fully operational throughout offshore activities.
Requirements:
- Valid Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch (OICEW) Certificate of Competency (CoC).
- Valid HUET certificate.
- Valid CA-EBS certificate.
- Valid STCW certificates and Endorsement.
- Valid Seafarer's Medical Certificate.
- Valid Passport.
- Valid Seaman's Book.
- Minimum 12 months of offshore experience as 3rd Engineer onboard MPSV, OCV, or DSV vessels.
- Marlins English Test with a minimum score of 70% in all sections.
- References from previous employers.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
- Good English communication skills.
