Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced 3rd Engineer to join a Norwegian-flagged SCOV DP3 vessel operating in the North Sea.

The successful candidate will support the engineering department with the safe and efficient operation, maintenance and monitoring of the vessel's machinery and technical systems. Previous experience onboard MPSV, OCV or DSV vessels is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform engine-room watchkeeping duties in accordance with company procedures.
• Operate and monitor main and auxiliary machinery.
• Carry out planned maintenance, inspections and routine repairs.
• Assist with troubleshooting and technical maintenance.
• Monitor machinery performance and report defects or abnormalities.
• Maintain engine-room cleanliness and safe working conditions.
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings and emergency drills.
• Follow company SMS, HSE and environmental procedures.
• Maintain accurate engineering records and operational documentation.

Requirements

• Valid Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch (OICEW) / relevant CoC – mandatory.
• OPITO HUET with CA-EBS – mandatory.
• Minimum 12 months of actual onboard experience on MPSV / OCV / DSV vessels in the rank of 3rd Engineer.
• Valid COC and applicable Endorsement.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Seaman's Book.
• Valid passport.
• Valid Medical Certificate.
• Good command of English.
• Relevant offshore vessel experience.
• Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
• Availability to join on 21 October 2026.
