Location: Sabah
Job Description:
We are looking for a 3rd Engineer for a SCOV DP3 vessel operating in the Sabah area.
Contract duration is 5 weeks, with joining on 7 January.
Applicants must either hold a valid work permit for Sabah or be of Sabahan origin.
The ideal candidate will have solid engineering experience on offshore vessels and the required safety and medical certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary engines and machinery
• Monitoring engine room equipment and ensuring safe and efficient performance
• Supporting planned maintenance and troubleshooting tasks
• Maintaining engine room logs and documentation
• Following safety procedures and cooperating with the engineering team and Chief Engineer
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate (including Petronas Medical)
• Proficiency in English communication
• OIC-EW (Officers in Charge of Engineering Watch) License
• OPITO BOSIET & CA-EBS
• TSBB certificate
• Must hold a Sabah Work Permit OR be Sabahan origin
• Minimum 12 months experience on similar offshore vessels (SCOV/DP3) in the rank of 3rd Engineer
• Passport and Seaman’s Book (all pages)
• References from previous employers
Employment Details:
• Contract Duration: 5 weeks
• Salary: 175 EUR/day
