Job Description:
We are currently seeking a qualified 3rd Engineer to join a DP2 Subsea Construction Offshore Vessel (SCOV), GRT 9423, built in 2009 and operating under the Norwegian flag. The vessel is equipped with a 150T crane and will be engaged in offshore operations in the North Sea.
The contract duration is 4 weeks with a planned joining date on 27th April. This role requires prior offshore experience on similar vessel types such as MPSV, OCV, or DSV. Candidates must meet all certification and operational requirements, including DP Maintenance and HUET with CA-EBS.
Only EU nationals holding a valid UK work permit will be considered. All candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting in the operation, maintenance, and repair of engine room machinery and systems
• Supporting DP system maintenance and ensuring readiness for offshore operations
• Monitoring engine performance and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
• Participating in planned maintenance systems and troubleshooting technical issues
• Ensuring adherence to company and international maritime safety standards
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Officer in Charge of Engineering Watch (OICEW) license
• DP Maintenance certificate
• HUET with CA-EBS
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• EU Nationals only, holding a valid UK work permit
• Minimum 12 months experience as 3rd Engineer on MPSV / OCV / DSV vessels
