Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified 3rd Engineer to join a DSV DP2 (Diving Support Vessel) operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The ideal candidate must have solid engineering experience onboard DP2 vessels, strong competence in DP maintenance, and familiarity with IMCA requirements.
This is a 3-month contract, with an ASAP joining date.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, duties may include but are not limited to:
 • Monitoring and maintaining engine room machinery and auxiliary systems
 • Performing troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment
 • Supporting DP system maintenance in accordance with DP2 operational requirements
 • Ensuring safe and efficient engineering operations under the supervision of senior engineers
 • Keeping engineering logs, maintenance records, and regulatory documentation up to date

Requirements:

• Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch License (STCW III/1)
• DP Maintenance Certificate
• IMCA DP Logbook
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Minimum 12 months actual onboard experience on DP2 vessels as 3rd Engineer
• Marlins English Test: minimum 70% in all sections
• Fully vaccinated against Covid-19

Employment Details:

• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Salary: USD 200 per day
