Job Description:
iPS Powerful People is recruiting a 3rd Engineer for a self-propelled crane vessel operating in Dutch waters. The engineer will support the safe and reliable operation of the vessel's machinery and technical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily engine-room rounds and equipment inspections.
- Report defects and abnormalities affecting vessel operations.
- Maintain engines, pumps, generators and auxiliary machinery.
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairs under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards in machinery spaces and workshops.
- Complete maintenance tasks safely and in accordance with vessel procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid 3rd Engineer Certificate of Competency.
- Valid BOSIET certificate.
- Previous experience on self-propelled crane vessels, DP vessels or other technically demanding offshore vessels.
- At least three years of relevant marine engineering experience.
- Knowledge of engine-room operations, planned maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work effectively within a multicultural crew.
