3rd Engineer for Research Vessel (Qatar)

Job Description:
Seaworks Company is recruiting an experienced 3rd Engineer to join a research vessel operating in Qatar. The position involves supporting the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of engine-room machinery and technical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Operate and maintain assigned machinery and equipment.
• Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Monitor machinery parameters and report abnormalities.
• Conduct routine inspections of engine-room equipment.
• Follow onboard safety and maintenance procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) as 3rd Engineer.
• Valid STCW certificates and relevant endorsements.
• Valid seafarer medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant sea-service experience.
• Good English communication skills.
