Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced 3rd Engineer to join our offshore vessel, which is currently in drydock in China and will soon be deployed for a project in Malaysia. This position offers the opportunity to work on pipe laying or cable laying vessels, where your experience will be highly valued. You will be part of a skilled team of engineers dedicated to maintaining and operating various equipment and technical installations in the engine room and on deck.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the operation and maintenance of all machinery and equipment in the engine room.
• Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of engine room systems.
• Participate in planned maintenance and emergency response activities.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers from various nationalities, working in 12-hour shifts.

Requirements:
• Officer in Charge of Engineering Watch Certificate of Competency (COC).
• All valid training certificates in compliance with STCW’10.
• BOSIET/HUET + CA-EBS certificates.
• High Voltage certification.
• Marlins Test completion.
• Preferably experience on large offshore vessels.
• Minimum of 5 contracts in the 3rd Engineer position.
• Experience on pipe laying or cable laying vessels is an advantage.
