Job Description:
iPS Powerful People is seeking a 3rd Engineer for an offshore support vessel operating in Qatar. The engineer will support the safe operation and maintenance of the vessel's engine-room machinery and auxiliary systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engine-room rounds and machinery inspections.
- Carry out planned maintenance activities.
- Report defects and assist with troubleshooting.
- Support the operation and maintenance of engines, generators, pumps and auxiliary equipment.
- Monitor fuel, lubricating-oil and cooling systems.
- Support maintenance of DP-related machinery and equipment.
Requirements:
- Valid A-III/2 Certificate of Competency.
- Valid DP Maintenance Certificate for Engine Room personnel.
- Valid BOSIET certificate.
- Valid H2S certificate.
- Valid Engine Room Management certificate.
- Experience on CSV, DSV or MPSV vessels is preferred.
- DP2 KPOS experience is preferred.
- NOC approval is preferred.
