Job Description:
Helder Maritiem is currently recruiting an experienced 3rd Engineer to join an Offshore Barge operating in the Netherlands.
Joining is scheduled for the end of September 2026 on a 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off rotation. This is a long-term position offering stable offshore employment. The successful candidate will support the engine department in maintaining and operating propulsion and auxiliary machinery while ensuring safe and reliable vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist in the operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary machinery.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Support engine room watchkeeping and machinery troubleshooting.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and maritime regulations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical Fitness Certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Croatian or EU nationality
Valid maritime certificates
Mandatory A1 Certificate
Previous offshore barge experience
Employment Details:
