Job Description:
Worldwide Recruitment Solutions (WRS) is seeking an experienced 3rd Engineer to join a Heavy Lift Vessel operating in the United Kingdom. The position is available for immediate mobilization and offers a 5-week contract. Candidates must have UK working rights and possess all required offshore and maritime certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist senior engineering officers with the operation and maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary machinery.
Carry out planned maintenance and routine engine room inspections.
Monitor machinery performance and report technical issues promptly.
Ensure engine room operations comply with company safety procedures and international regulations.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and support efficient vessel operations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid 3rd Engineer Certificate of Competency (CoC)
UK Working Rights (Mandatory)
Valid HV (High Voltage) Certification
Valid GWO Sea Survival
Valid Passport
Valid Seaman's Book
Previous experience as 3rd Engineer on Heavy Lift or offshore vessels is preferred
