Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced 3rd Engineer to join a Geotechnical Drilling Vessel operating in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the vessel's engineering operations, ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of machinery and equipment onboard. This is a temporary offshore assignment with an expected joining date of 18 June and a contract duration of approximately 8 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting in the operation, maintenance, and repair of engine room machinery and equipment
• Monitoring vessel systems to ensure safe and efficient performance
• Maintaining engineering logs and records in accordance with company procedures
• Supporting planned maintenance activities and troubleshooting mechanical issues
• Complying with all safety, environmental, and operational regulations onboard

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC)
• Valid Passport
• Seaman's Book
• Previous experience in a similar engineering position is preferred
