Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced 3rd Engineer to join a DP2 MPOV vessel operating in the United States. The position is required ASAP and will run until 2nd June.
The successful candidate will support engine room operations onboard a dynamically positioned offshore construction vessel. This is a short-term urgent assignment requiring full offshore compliance and valid US entry certification.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assisting with operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary machinery
Supporting DP2 vessel engine room operations
Carrying out routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental procedures
Supporting senior engineering officers in daily operations
Requirements:
Valid COC (3rd Engineer or equivalent)
Valid STCW certificates
Valid passport
Seaman’s book
Valid offshore medical certificate
HUET certificate
CA-EBS certification
Valid US B1 OCS Visa (mandatory)
