We are seeking an experienced 3rd Engineer to join a Cable Lay Vessel for an offshore project in the Netherlands.
The 3rd Engineer will assist in engine room operations, machinery maintenance, and ensure smooth functioning of mechanical and auxiliary systems during cable installation operations.
• Assisting in engine room watchkeeping duties
• Performing planned maintenance and repairs
• Monitoring auxiliary systems and safety equipment
• Supporting heavy lift and cable lay operations from a technical perspective
• Ensuring compliance with offshore safety regulations
Requirements
• Proven experience as 3rd Engineer on Cable Lay or Heavy Lift vessels
• Valid STCW CoC (III/1 or relevant)
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Seaman’s Book and Passport
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to join for full project duration
• UK & USA visa eligibility is an advantage
