Job Description:
We are urgently seeking a 3rd Engineer to join an AHTS DP2 vessel operating offshore in Angola. The vessel is engaged in offshore support operations, assisting with anchor handling, towing, and supply services.
This is a rotational contract position offering stable offshore employment with immediate joining. The candidate must have prior offshore vessel experience and be confident working in dynamic positioning (DP2) environments under demanding operational conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to: • Assisting the Chief and 2nd Engineer in engine room operations and maintenance
• Monitoring and maintaining propulsion, auxiliary, and DP-related machinery
• Performing planned maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical systems
• Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and company regulations
• Maintaining accurate engine room logs and reports
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Good experience in a similar position on offshore vessels
• Familiarity with DP2 vessel operations
Employment Details:
• Contract Duration: 2–3 months rotation
• Salary: 105 USD per day
