Job Description
A leading offshore marine company is seeking an experienced 3rd Officer / JDPO to join an SCOV DP3 operating in the North Sea.
The successful candidate will be responsible for navigational watchkeeping, DP operations, deck activities, and supporting safe vessel operations in accordance with company procedures, international maritime regulations, and offshore safety standards.
Position Available
- 3rd Officer / JDPO – EUR 180 per day
Job Responsibilities
- Perform navigational watchkeeping duties as assigned
- Assist with Dynamic Positioning (DP) operations
- Support safe deck and offshore vessel operations
- Maintain navigation and safety equipment as required
- Participate in emergency drills, toolbox talks, and safety meetings
- Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures and international maritime regulations
- Maintain accurate operational and navigational records
Requirements
General Requirements
- Valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) License
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) and Flag State Endorsement
- Valid STCW certification package
- Valid DP Advanced Certificate
- Valid HUET certificate
- Valid CA-EBS certification
- Valid passport, seaman's book, and medical certificate
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Professional Requirements
- Minimum 12 months of actual onboard offshore experience as 3rd Officer / JDPO
- Previous experience on MPSV, OCV, or DSV vessels
- Proven offshore vessel experience
- Good knowledge of DP operations and navigational procedures
