Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced 3rd Officer / JDPO to join an MPSV DP2 vessel operating in the North Sea.

The vessel has a GRT of 7,530, was built in 2008, and sails under the Norwegian flag. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting navigational and DP operations onboard and must hold the required OOW and DP qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

  •  Supporting bridge watchkeeping and safe navigation of the vessel. 
  •  Assisting with Dynamic Positioning operations in accordance with vessel procedures. 
  •  Maintaining navigational and safety equipment and records. 
  •  Complying with company, flag-state, and offshore safety procedures. 
  •  Performing assigned duties as 3rd Officer / JDPO and supporting the deck department. 

Requirements:

  •  Valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) License
  •  Valid DP Advanced Certificate
  •  Valid HUET certificate. 
  •  Valid CA-EBS certificate. 
  •  Minimum 12 months of actual onboard experience on similar types of vessels in the rank of 3rd Officer / JDPO
  •  Valid COC, Endorsement, and applicable STCW certificates. 
  •  Valid passport and Seaman’s Book. 
  •  Valid medical certificate. 
  •  References from previous employers. 
  •  Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
