Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced 3rd Officer / DPO to join a Norwegian-flagged SCOV DP2 vessel operating in the North Sea.

The successful candidate will be responsible for bridge watchkeeping, Dynamic Positioning operations and support of offshore vessel activities. Previous experience on MPSV, OCV or DSV vessels is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform bridge watchkeeping and navigation duties.
• Conduct DP operations in accordance with vessel procedures.
• Support safe vessel maneuvering and offshore operations.
• Monitor navigation, communication and DP equipment.
• Assist with deck and offshore project activities as required.
• Maintain accurate bridge and operational records.
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings and emergency drills.
• Follow company SMS, HSE and environmental procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of safety and operational readiness onboard.

Requirements

• Valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) Certificate of Competency – mandatory.
• Valid DP Full Certificate – mandatory.
• HUET with CA-EBS – mandatory.
• Minimum 12 months of actual onboard experience on MPSV / OCV / DSV vessels in the rank of 3rd Officer / DPO.
• Valid COC, Endorsement and all applicable STCW certificates.
• Valid Seaman's Book.
• Valid Medical Certificate.
• Valid passport.
• Good command of English.
• Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
• Availability to join on 14 October 2026.
