Job Description:
Seaworks Company is recruiting an experienced 2nd Officer to join a research vessel operating in Qatar. The position involves supporting safe navigation, deck operations, and onboard vessel activities in accordance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with safe navigation and bridge watchkeeping.
• Conduct deck operations and routine inspections.
• Maintain navigational equipment and records.
• Support research vessel operations.
• Follow onboard safety and emergency procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) as 2nd Officer.
• Valid STCW certificates and relevant endorsements.
• Valid seafarer medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant sea-service experience.
• Good English communication skills.
