Job Description:
An opportunity is available for a Second Officer to join a DP2 Anchor Handling Vessel operating in the UK sector, with joining scheduled for 29th April. The initial contract is for 28 days, with the potential for a permanent position based on performance. The vessel is engaged in anchor handling and offshore support operations, requiring a competent officer with DP knowledge and experience in offshore environments.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting in vessel navigation and DP operations
• Supporting anchor handling and towing operations
• Maintaining navigational watch and ensuring safe vessel positioning
• Assisting with deck operations and coordination with offshore installations
• Ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Certificate of Competency (CoC)
• DP Basic certificate (minimum)
• BOSIET certification
• UK Working Rights (mandatory)
• Valid passport
• Seaman’s book
