Job Description:
WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is currently recruiting an experienced 2nd Officer DPO to join an MPSV operating offshore in Ghana.
Joining is scheduled for 20 July with an estimated contract duration of approximately 2 months. The successful candidate will support navigational watchkeeping and Dynamic Positioning (DP) operations while ensuring safe offshore vessel performance. Previous experience onboard MPSVs is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain navigational watches in accordance with international maritime regulations.
Operate and monitor the Dynamic Positioning (DP) system during offshore operations.
Assist the Master and Chief Officer with safe vessel navigation and operational planning.
Maintain navigational records, charts, and voyage documentation.
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and offshore operational procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Full DP Certificate (Unlimited)
Previous MPSV experience preferred
HUET with CA-EBS (OPITO Approved)
HLO (Helicopter Landing Officer) Training
Valid Certificate of Competency appropriate for the rank
