Job Description

OSM Thome is currently seeking an experienced 2nd Officer (2/O) to join an Offshore Construction Vessel operating worldwide.

This is a contractual at-sea position, offering the opportunity to work in international waters as part of a professional and dynamic offshore team.

The role involves navigational watchkeeping, cargo operations support, and ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations and safety standards.

 Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, duties include but are not limited to:

• Assisting in navigational watch duties to ensure safe passage of the vessel
• Overseeing cargo operations as required
• Maintaining firefighting and safety equipment
• Supporting vessel compliance with international maritime regulations and standards

 Requirements

• Valid 2nd Officer Certificate with applicable STCW endorsements
• Previous experience on offshore and construction vessels
• Good English communication skills
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Valid medical fitness certificate
