Job Description:
AmanCare Careers is looking for a Second Engineer to support the Chief Engineer in managing engine room operations, machinery, and technical maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assisting in engine room operations and machinery maintenance.
Supervising engineering crew under Chief Engineer’s guidance.
Conducting inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
Reporting operational issues and repairs.
Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certification and Second Engineer license.
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in engine room operations.
Knowledge of ship machinery and propulsion systems.
Medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
