Location: Norway Offshore
WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a qualified 2nd Engineer for a short-term assignment onboard an Offshore Support Vessel (OSV) operating in Norwegian offshore waters. The vessel supports offshore oil and gas operations, including cargo transport, offshore logistics, and marine support activities.
This is a temporary assignment ideal for experienced offshore engineers familiar with offshore vessel machinery, electrical systems, and safety procedures. The selected candidate will support the Chief Engineer in maintaining the vessel’s engineering systems and ensuring safe and efficient vessel operations.

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assist the Chief Engineer in managing engine room operations
• Maintain propulsion systems, auxiliary machinery, and engineering equipment
• Monitor machinery performance and conduct preventive maintenance
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company engineering standards
• Maintain accurate engine room logs and technical records
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) – 2nd Engineer
• Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book
• Valid offshore safety certification (BOSIET or FOET)
• High Voltage (HV) certification required
• Previous offshore vessel experience preferred
• Joining Date: 4 March 2026
• Contract Duration: Until 18 March 2026 (Short-term assignment)
