Job Description:
WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a 2nd Engineer to join a Pipe-lay Barge operating in the UAE. The vessel supports offshore pipeline installation projects, requiring experienced engineering personnel to ensure safe and efficient engine room operations. The assignment is scheduled to start on 3rd March and will be conducted in a professional offshore working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Support daily engine room operations and maintenance activities
• Assist with troubleshooting and repair of machinery and systems
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and engineering standards
• Support offshore pipe-laying operations through reliable technical performance

Requirements:
• Valid 2nd Engineer Certificate of Competency (CoC)
• Chester Step certification
• Valid STCW certificates
• BOSIET / FOET / HUET (one of these required)
• Medical fitness certificate
• Valid Passport
• Valid Seaman’s Book
• Proficiency in English communication
