We are seeking an experienced Second Engineer to join an OSV DP2 vessel operating in the North Sea.
This is a 10-day contract with joining scheduled for 9th of December.
Only EU Nationals with a valid UK Work Permit or Ukrainian nationals under UK protection status will be considered.
The role requires a competent engineering officer with solid DP vessel experience and valid DP Maintenance certification.
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Monitoring and maintaining main and auxiliary engine systems
• Ensuring safe and efficient operation of all machinery on board
• Performing troubleshooting and repairs as required
• Maintaining accurate engine room logs and technical documentation
• Supporting DP operations and ensuring machinery readiness at all times
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Nationality requirement: EU Nationals with UK Work Permit or Ukrainian nationals under UK protection status
• Second Engineer’s License
• DP Maintenance Certificate and DP Logbook
• Minimum 18 months experience on OSV DP2 vessels in the rank of Second Engineer
• Passport, seaman’s book, COC, endorsements, and references from previous employers
• Contract Duration: 10 days
• Salary: 360 EUR per day
