Job Description:
Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a qualified 2nd Engineer to join a Wind Turbine Installation Vessel (WTIV) operating outside the UK 12NM zone for a 4-week assignment. The successful candidate will support the engine department in maintaining safe and efficient vessel operations during offshore wind installation activities. Candidates must hold a valid UK ETA or be willing to obtain one prior to joining.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting in the operation and maintenance of engine room systems and machinery
• Supporting DP maintenance procedures and equipment checks
• Ensuring compliance with offshore safety and environmental regulations
• Participating in planned maintenance and troubleshooting activities
• Assisting senior engineering officers during vessel operations and emergencies

• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC)
• Valid BOSIET / FOET certification
• CAEBS certification
• DP Maintenance certification
• GWO Sea Survival (GWO SS) certification
• GWO Working at Heights (GWO WAH) certification
• Valid Seamans Book
• Valid Passport
• UK ETA or willingness to obtain one
