2nd Engineer for Tug Boat (Nigeria)

Location: Malta – Nigeria

Job Description:
Nord Crewing is urgently recruiting an experienced Second Engineer for a tugboat delivery voyage from Malta to Nigeria. Previous experience on tugboats, workboats or offshore vessels is required.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with the operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary machinery
• Monitoring engine room equipment and machinery performance
• Carrying out routine inspections and maintenance
• Supporting the Chief Engineer in engine room operations
• Following onboard safety and HSE procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience on tugboats, workboats or offshore vessels
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid CoC appropriate to the position
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Valid passport and seaman’s book
• Good English communication skills
• Availability for urgent mobilisation
