Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced 2nd Engineer to join a Survey Vessel operating in the United Kingdom. The assignment is scheduled to commence on 1st July and will run for a 4-week contract. This role is ideal for candidates with previous experience in offshore or survey vessel operations who are ready to join on short notice. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation of the vessel’s engine room and technical systems throughout the contract period.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting in the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of engine room machinery and auxiliary systems
• Supporting planned and preventive maintenance of onboard mechanical and electrical equipment
• Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and company operational procedures
• Maintaining accurate engine room logs and technical records
• Assisting the Chief Engineer in the safe and efficient running of vessel machinery during the project

Requirements:
• Valid COC
• Valid STCW certificates
• DP Maintenance certificate
• Valid Medical fitness certificate
• Valid Passport
• Seaman’s Book
• UK working rights are mandatory
• Proficiency in English communication
