Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced 2nd Engineer (2/E) to join our team within the Aurora Offshore fleet, an Offshore PSV vessel based in Aberdeen, UK. As a 2nd Engineer, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Chief Engineer in the maintenance and operation of all machinery and equipment on board.
Requirements:
- Solid experience as a 2nd Engineer on offshore vessels.
- Valid STCW certification.
- Proficiency in the operation and maintenance of diesel engines, generators, and other machinery.
- Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in a challenging offshore environment.
