Job Description:
We are currently looking for an experienced 2nd Engineer to join a pipelay vessel for an upcoming offshore project. Start dates are 17th June or 24th June with a duration of 5–7 weeks. If you are available and interested, feel free to apply directly.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy and position, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
· Engine room watchkeeping and supervision of engineering personnel
· Routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of propulsion and auxiliary machinery
· Support of pipelay and heavy offshore construction operations
· Compliance with all safety management systems, ISM, and client HSEQ requirements
· Coordination with the Chief Engineer regarding engine performance and maintenance planning
· Maintenance of engine room logs, records, and planned maintenance systems

Requirements:
Essential Requirements:
· Proven experience as 2nd Engineer – mandatory
· Background working on pipelay or heavy offshore construction vessels – mandatory
· 2nd Engineer CoC (Certificate of Competency) – mandatory
· Strong offshore and safety awareness – mandatory
· Availability for the full project duration – mandatory
· Valid STCW certificates as per rank
· Valid Medical Certificate (offshore / ENG1 or equivalent)
· Valid BOSIET / FOET with CA-EBS (preferred)
· Valid Seaman's Book and Passport
· Proficiency in English communication (verbal and written)
· Nationality requirement: Must have EU working rights (due to Netherlands location)
· Availability: Must be available for start date 17th June or 24th June for 5–7 weeks
