Job Description:
WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is looking for an experienced 2nd Engineer to join a Heavy Lift Semi-Submersible Vessel from 2 September 2026.
The position is offered on a 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off rotation. The successful candidate must have the legal right to work in the UK and hold the required marine and offshore certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with the safe and efficient operation of the vessel's main and auxiliary machinery.
Carry out planned and corrective maintenance of engine-room equipment.
Monitor machinery performance and identify technical issues.
Support the Chief Engineer with engineering operations and maintenance activities.
Ensure all engineering work is performed in accordance with safety and environmental procedures.
Requirements:
Valid CoC (Certificate of Competency).
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid GWO Sea Survival (GWO SS).
Valid Medical Certificate.
Valid BOSIET.
Valid Passport.
Previous experience on Heavy Lift / Semi-Submersible vessels is advantageous.
UK Working Rights are mandatory.
Good English communication skills.
