WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is currently looking for an experienced 2nd Engineer to join a Geotechnical Drilling Vessel operating in the Netherlands.
The role involves engine room watchkeeping, maintenance, and support of drilling-related operations. Candidates must have prior experience in offshore or specialized vessels and be ready to join on the specified date.
• Second Engineer (2/E)
As per company policy, duties may include but are not limited to:
• Engine room watchkeeping and machinery operation
• Maintenance and repair of main engines, auxiliary engines, and related systems
• Supporting drilling and geotechnical operations from an engineering perspective
• Ensuring compliance with ISM, HSE, and company procedures
• Monitoring machinery performance and reporting technical issues
• Maintaining accurate engine room logs and maintenance records
• Participating in drills, toolbox talks, and safety meetings
• Valid Certificate of Competency (COC) – Second Engineer
• STCW certificates as per rank
• Valid Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
• Valid Passport
• Seaman’s Book
• Relevant experience on offshore / drilling / geotechnical vessels preferred
• Good English communication skills
• Availability to join 6 February
• Contract Duration: 4 weeks
