We are currently recruiting an experienced 2nd Engineer to join a DP2 Towage Vessel operating in the United Kingdom. This is a short-term assignment supporting towage and offshore operations, requiring a competent engineer with DP vessel experience and full UK right to work.
The role involves assisting the Chief Engineer in maintaining safe, efficient, and compliant engine room operations during the project period.
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting in operation, maintenance, and monitoring of main engines and auxiliary machinery
• Carrying out engine room watchkeeping duties on a DP2 vessel
• Supporting planned maintenance and defect rectification
• Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and company procedures
• Maintaining accurate engine room logs and records
• Valid 2nd Engineer CoC
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
• Seaman’s Book and Passport
• UK Right to Work (mandatory)
• Good English communication skills
• Previous experience on DP or towage vessels is an advantage
