Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced 2nd Engineer to join a DP2 Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) Vessel operating in South Africa. This is an urgent assignment with an immediate start, supporting offshore operations that require strong technical competence and prior AHTS exposure. Winch experience is essential, with deep-sea AHTS experience strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with daily engine room operations and maintenance
• Supporting DP2 and AHTS offshore operations
• Monitoring and maintaining winch-related systems and machinery
• Ensuring compliance with safety, operational, and maintenance procedures

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Certificate of Competency (COC)
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Winch experience (mandatory)
• Deep-sea AHTS experience (preferred)
• Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book
