Vessel Type: Cable Layer DP2
Position: Second Engineer

Job Description:

Second Engineer required for Cable Layer DP2 vessel operating in KSA. Contract duration is 90 days, joining ASAP. Candidate must hold a valid Second Engineer’s License and DP Maintenance Certificate. Mandatory experience — minimum 24 months onboard similar DP2 vessels in rank of Second Engineer. ARAMCO–approved candidates are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, may include but are not limited to:
 • Operation and maintenance of engine room machinery and systems
 • Ensuring safe and efficient technical performance of the vessel
 • Conducting routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs
 • Monitoring DP-related equipment and coordinating with technical teams
 • Compliance with international maritime and safety regulations
 • Reporting to Chief Engineer and assisting in technical documentation

Requirements:

• Second Engineer’s License
 • DP Maintenance Certificate
 • Minimum 24 months experience on DP2 vessels as Second Engineer
 • ARAMCO approval (preferable)
 • All mandatory STCW certificates (valid for at least 12 months)
 • Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
 • Marlins test — minimum 70% in all sections
• Passport + Seaman’s Book valid and up-to-date

Wages:

350 USD per day
