Job Description:

We are inviting applications for the position of Second Engineer to join a Cable Layer DP2 vessel operating in KSA waters.
This is a 90-day contract, starting ASAP.
The role requires strong technical knowledge, DP Maintenance competence, and proven experience on DP2 vessels.
ARAMCO-approved candidates are considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
 • Monitoring and maintenance of main and auxiliary engine systems
 • Troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring safe engine room operations
 • Managing planned maintenance and DP-related machinery upkeep
 • Ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards of the vessel

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates
 • Valid medical fitness certificate
 • Proficiency in English communication
 • Second Engineer’s License (mandatory)
• DP Maintenance Certificate
• Minimum 24 months experience on DP2 vessels in the rank of Second Engineer
• ARAMCO-approved candidates preferred
• Marlins Test: minimum 70% in all sections
• Candidates must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19

• Salary: 350 USD per day
