Job Description:

We are recruiting an experienced 2nd Engineer to join a Cable Lay Vessel supporting offshore wind activities. This role is suited to a strong engineering officer with experience on DP vessels and offshore construction or cable lay operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting engine department operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operation of all machinery during offshore wind activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chief Engineer with operation and maintenance of main engines, auxiliaries, and electrical systems
• Ensure machinery and systems comply with DP and offshore wind project requirements
• Carry out planned maintenance and defect reporting
• Support DP operations with a focus on reliability and redundancy
• Maintain engine room safety, cleanliness, and compliance with HSE procedures
• Participate in audits, drills, and permit-to-work systems

Requirements:

• Valid 2nd Engineer CoC
• B1 OCS Wind Activities Visa – mandatory
• High Voltage certification
• DP Maintenance certificate
• GWO Working at Heights
• Valid STCW certificates and medical
• Previous Cable Lay / Offshore / Wind vessel experience preferred
• Good English communication skills
