2nd Engineer for AHTS Non-DP Vessel

Job Description

SSM Maritime Services Inc. is recruiting a qualified Second Engineer to support engine department operations aboard an AHTS Non-DP vessel.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist the Chief Engineer in managing engine-room operations.
• Monitor and maintain propulsion machinery and auxiliary systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and coordinate machinery repairs.
• Supervise engine-room tasks and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate machinery records and report technical defects.

Requirements

• Valid Second Engineer’s Certificate of Competency (CoC).
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant experience on AHTS or offshore support vessels.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer’s documents and applicable technical certificates.
