Wiper for Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Aaugustea is recruiting 1 Wiper for a Chemical Tanker. The Wiper will assist the engine department with cleaning, lubrication, routine maintenance, and general engine-room support duties.

Experience on tanker vessels and familiarity with vessels using FRAMO pumping systems are required for the vessel.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with engine-room cleaning and housekeeping.
• Supporting routine maintenance and lubrication activities.
• Assisting engineers and engine-room ratings during repairs.
• Handling tools, equipment, and engine-room stores as directed.
• Following engine-room safety procedures and participating in drills.

Requirements

• Relevant Wiper / engine-room experience.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
• Relevant Chemical Tanker experience.
• FRAMO pumps background.
• Valid Seafarer's Book and passport.
• Proficiency in English communication.
