Job Description
Wilhelmsen Marine Personnel (Philippines) Inc. is hiring Wipers to assist with engine-room cleanliness and routine maintenance aboard Fully Refrigerated Gas Tanker / VLGC vessels.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Clean engine-room spaces and maintain good housekeeping standards.
- Assist with routine maintenance under the supervision of engineering officers.
- Support machinery inspections and basic maintenance tasks.
- Handle tools and equipment safely.
- Follow onboard safety procedures and instructions from the engine department.
Requirements
- Relevant experience as a Wiper or in an engine-room support role.
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate, as applicable.
- Valid seafarer’s documents.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Gas tanker experience and specialized certificates as required by the employer.
