Job Description
PT. Aliyah Est Indonesia is currently seeking qualified and experienced seafarers to join VLCC operations in the Strait of Hormuz.
Successful candidates will support safe tanker operations, cargo transfer activities, navigation, engine room management, vessel maintenance, catering services, and compliance with international maritime safety regulations and company operational standards.
This opportunity is ideal for maritime professionals with previous ocean-going tanker experience and proven performance in their respective ranks.

Job Responsibilities
Deck Department
- Perform navigational watchkeeping duties
- Support cargo and STS (Ship-to-Ship) transfer operations
- Maintain deck equipment and safety systems
- Ensure compliance with tanker safety procedures
Engine Department
- Operate and maintain engine room machinery
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs
- Monitor machinery performance and operational efficiency
- Maintain engineering records and reports
Catering Department
- Prepare meals for officers and crew
- Maintain galley hygiene and food safety standards
- Support accommodation and catering services onboard
Deck Ratings
- Carry out mooring, cargo, and maintenance operations
- Assist officers during deck operations
- Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of deck areas
Requirements
General Requirements
- Fluent English communication skills
- Ocean-going vessel experience required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the applied rank
- Valid STCW 2010 certificates
- All certificates and documents must remain valid for at least 18 months
- Good safety awareness and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a multinational crew environment
Officer Requirements
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) appropriate to rank
- Previous tanker or VLCC experience preferred
- Experience with STS operations is an advantage
Ratings Requirements
- Previous tanker experience preferred
- Familiarity with tanker safety procedures and cargo operations
