Crew for LNG Tanker Vessel (China)

Job Description:
SouthPoint is recruiting qualified Malaysian seafarers for a newbuilding LNG bunker vessel currently under construction in China. The project offers an opportunity to join a newly built vessel, with joining expected in January 2027. Previous experience on LNG carriers, gas carriers, tankers, or similar vessel types is preferred.

• Third Engineer (3/E)

• Fitter

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Performing duties according to the assigned rank and vessel's operational requirements.
• Maintaining safe vessel operations and complying with international maritime regulations.
• Following safety procedures and participating in onboard drills and emergency response activities.
• Maintaining assigned equipment, machinery, and work areas in good condition.
• Cooperating with other crew members to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Malaysian nationality only.
• Previous experience on LNG, gas, tanker, or similar vessel types preferred.
• Relevant certificates and qualifications for the applied position.
