Job Description:
We are currently looking for 5 Fitters to join Oil/Chemical Tanker vessels. Candidates must hold a valid US visa and be available for deployment as required. The successful candidates will support the engine department with mechanical maintenance, repairs, fabrication, and troubleshooting of vessel machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Carry out mechanical maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
Assist engineering officers with troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
Perform fitting, fabrication, and workshop duties as required.
Inspect machinery and mechanical components and report defects.
Follow all vessel safety procedures when carrying out maintenance and repair work.
Requirements:
Valid US Visa – mandatory
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Previous experience as a Fitter
Oil/Chemical Tanker experience is preferred
Good command of English
Valid passport and seafarer documentation
