Job Description:
Norbulk Pacific Maritime is currently recruiting experienced Fitters to join its fleet of Reefer Vessels. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out mechanical repairs, fabrication, and maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform welding, fabrication, and mechanical repair work onboard.
Assist the engineering department with planned and corrective maintenance.
Maintain machinery, piping systems, and workshop equipment.
Inspect and repair structural components as required.
Follow company safety procedures and maintenance standards.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Previous experience as a Fitter on Reefer or Merchant vessels preferred
Strong mechanical and fabrication skills
