Job Description:
Martide is seeking experienced Fitters to join a new Oil/Chemical Tanker. The successful candidates will perform mechanical maintenance, fabrication, and repair work onboard. Previous European vessel experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs.
Assist engineers during planned maintenance.
Repair piping systems and structural equipment.
Maintain workshop tools and machinery.
Follow safety procedures and maintenance schedules.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Previous experience as Fitter on Oil/Chemical Tankers
European vessel experience preferred
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
